Background: Early mobilization in patients following spinal anesthesia is essential for accelerating recovery and preventing postoperative complications. However, its implementation remains suboptimal due to patients’ limited understanding of the benefits and stages of early mobilization. The use of educational media, such as e-flipcharts, is expected to enhance patients’ understanding and ability to perform early mobilization independently. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effect of e-flipchart-based education on the implementation of early mobilization among patients following spinal anesthesia at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital. Methods: This quantitative study employed a quasi-experimental posttest-only control group design. A total of 60 respondents were selected using purposive sampling and divided into an intervention group and a control group. The intervention consisted of education delivered through an e-flipchart. Data were collected using an observation checklist for early mobilization implementation and analyzed using the Mann–Whitney test. Results: The implementation of early mobilization in the intervention group was better than that in the control group. Statistical analysis showed a p-value of 0.015 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant effect of e-flipchart-based education on the implementation of early mobilization among patients following spinal anesthesia. Conclusion: Education delivered through an e-flipchart had a significant effect on the implementation of early mobilization among patients following spinal anesthesia at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital. Recommendation: Future researchers are encouraged to explore the use of other educational media, such as audiovisual materials, and to include additional variables, such as patients’ knowledge levels or pain intensity, to further strengthen the findings related to the implementation of early mobilization.
